Founding partner of ULO, Gregory T. Usera has been a management labor and employment counsel since commencing his legal career.  His practice is focused on rendering advice to employers and vindicating their decisions in court.  Mr. Usera has extensive litigation experience before the Puerto Rico and United States courts, of first instance as well as appellate levels, in such diverse areas as employment discrimination, sexual harassment, unjustified dismissal, defamation, privacy, wages and hours, work accident claims, ERISA, FMLA, NLRA, and the Railway Labor Act.  He has represented both public and private sector employers in union election campaigns, collective bargaining and arbitration, as well as defense of unfair labor practice charges.

A Political Science major from the University of Michigan, he graduated from Georgetown University Law Center. Further, he yearly attends National Employment Law Institute seminars to maintain current on recent developments in labor and employment matters.

Admitted to practice before state and federal courts in both the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, he is also a member of the International Society of Barristers, the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Bar Associations of the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, as well as the Association of Labor Relations Practitioners.

He frequently lectures before professional organizations, as well as private clients. His clientele includes employers engaged in the health, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, retail and telecommunications industries, as well as the Office of the Puerto Rico Controller in the public sector.

Diego Agüeros Jiménez has been associated with the firm since 2005 at various capacities. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Social Sciences from Sacred Heart University in San Juan. Awarded recognition for his constant academic achievements, he was included in the Dean's List. In August, 2004 he enrolled at the University of Puerto Rico Law School and graduated in May 2008. 

Mr. Agüeros is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico and its lower courts, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and administrative agencies such as the Department of Labor's Anti Discrimination Unit, Negotiation and Conciliation Bureau and Office of Mediation and Arbitration ("OMA") . He is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
